The four agreements should be read first. Exactly like magic, since they are magical, the Four Agreements slowly allow you to recover your authentic self. The fifth agreement was not included in my first book because the four initial agreements were enough. However, you can not run away from agreements. However, before doing so, it will be useful to know a little more about the four agreements and their history. These agreements slowly allow you to reconnect with your authentic and awakened self. The Fifth Agreement uses the doubt of a tool to discern reality.
Everyone else is just a secondary character. Truth or fiction, you do not need to believe in anyone’s story. The story is about the invention of symbols, the invention of a complete language, and operates by agreement. You know that what they are telling you is just a story, and you know it because you can feel it. If it is possible to understand the stories of different people and are able to understand yours, then together you can make the dream more beautiful. To achieve this, we must begin by transforming our personal dreams.
It is not likely that our reality coincides with the reality of others because we all have our own films going on in our heads. The digital reality that we create could be a very clear reflection of the truth, or it can be completely distorted. The truth is only one, and the truth is what we are referring to. Beliefs are a kind of agreement we have. When you have a belief, you can not perceive what it is.
The human mind is only a digital reality. Create stories to try to explain and understand what is happening in each particular moment. With this awareness, we can begin to understand the human mind. Once you realize this, the fifth agreement creates a lot of sense and can make a big difference in your life. Just take a minute and be grateful for everything in your life, for each individual and for each event you encounter. For the first time, you are seeing how your mom perceives everyone and everything in her life.
You do not need to express your own opinion. You do not need to form an opinion about what someone says. As a matter of fact, nobody seems to be the address that you know it is. Then it is possible to share your point of view if you wish, knowing that it is simply a point of view.
When you learn to listen, you recognize exactly what other individuals want. You do not need to agree or disagree. You are aware that it is nothing personal. You do not judge what other men and women say since you understand what they are doing. Each of us gives a meaning to each word, and it is not exactly the same for everyone. One of the means is to pretend to be skeptical because you think it is too sensible to be gullible. The only one who has to believe in me is me.
